Dr. Ajiravudh Subarnbhesaj is a distinguished dental professional currently serving as the Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry at Khon Kaen University, Thailand, a position he has held since 2023. His journey in dentistry began with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) from Khon Kaen University, Thailand, completed between 1991 and 1997. He further advanced his expertise with a Graduate Diploma in Oral Medicine from the Faculty of Dentistry at Mahidol University, Thailand, in 1999.

Dr. Ajiravudh earned a Master of Dental Science (M.D.Sc.) in Oral Pathology and Oral Medicine from the University of Sydney, Australia, between 2000 and 2002. He continued his academic pursuit by obtaining a Fellowship of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Thailand (FRCDS-Thailand) in Oral Diagnostic Science (Oral Pathology) in 2005. Concurrently, he completed a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Translation from the Faculty of Arts at Chulalongkorn University, Thailand, in 2007.

From 2011 to 2014, Dr. Ajiravudh pursued a Ph.D. in Dental Science, specializing in Oral and Maxillofacial Pathobiology at the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, Hiroshima University, Japan. In 2017, he was awarded another Fellowship of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Thailand (FRCDS-Thailand) in Oral Diagnostic Science (Oral Medicine) by the Thai Dental Council.

Dr. Ajiravudh’s professional journey includes extensive experience in academic and administrative roles at Khon Kaen University. He has served as a Lecturer and Clinical Instructor in the Department of Oral Diagnosis since 1997. His notable administrative positions include Chair of the Department of Oral Diagnosis, Assistant Dean for Student and Special Affairs, and Associate Dean for Student Development, Alumni, and Public Relations. He was also the Associate Dean for Education from 2019 to 2023 before being appointed as the Dean.
