By analyzing recent studies, we will explore the bi-directional mechanisms that link oral pathogens to systemic health outcomes, emphasizing the importance of periodontal care in holistic health management. The lecture will also evaluate the implications of periodontal treatment on improving systemic conditions, underscoring the need for integrated healthcare approaches. This review serves as a critical update for healthcare professionals, promoting a deeper understanding of the systemic impact of periodontal diseases and advocating for enhanced interdisciplinary collaboration in patient care.
